I've had an on and off relationship with a woman over the past few months. It ended quite recently and from what she told me/what I've figured out on my own:
1) Don't be afraid to lose the person you're involved with. Let the person know as much as they can about you.
2) You should be just as concerned with whether the other person loves you as to whether you really love the other person.
3) When listening to a story a person is telling you, try to figure out what their interest is as well as what is interesting to you.
